Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini, agar mengetahui jenis mutu paving block yang dihasilkan. Selain memiliki nilai ekonomi juga dapat menjadi produk yang ramah lingkungan. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan eksperimental skala laboratorium dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif, ananlisis data menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK), dan uji lanjut Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT). Presentase komposisi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah paving block 1 (0%), paving block 2 (10%), paving block 3 (15%), dan paving block 4 (25%). Pengujian kuat tekan dan daya serap air dilakukan setelah umur 28 hari. Hasil penelitian pengujian kuat tekan didapat nilai rata-rata tertinggi pada variasi paving block 4 (25%) sebesar 39 Mpa dengan jenis mutu A. Hasil pengujian daya serap air didapat nilai rata-rata terbaik pada variasi paving block 4 (25%) sebesar 5,5 % dengan jenis mutu B. Hasil Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) kuat tekan dan daya serap air (F Hitung > F Tabel) sehingga perlakuan berpengaruh signifikan dan hasil uji Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT) kuat tekan dan daya serap air diperoleh hasil optimal pada interaksi komposisi paving block 4 LCT 15%, ASP 10%. Kata Kunci : Limbah Cangkang Telur Ayam, Abu Sekam Padi, Kuat Tekan, Daya Serap Air, dan Paving Block. ABSTRACT The increasing number of chicken egg production and rice production the more food waste is produced. Chicken egg production in West Java in 2020 reached 497,577 tons and rice production in West Java reached 9.35 million tons GKG. The purpose of this study was to determine the type of quality of the paving blocks produced. This type of research is an experimental laboratory scale using quantitative descriptive methods, data analysis using Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) and further testing Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT). The percentage composition used in this research is paving block 1 (0%), paving block 2 (10%), paving block 3 (15%), and paving block 4 (25%). Tests for compressive strength and water absorption were carried out after 28 days of age. The results of the research on compressive strength testing obtained the highest average value in the variation of paving block 4 (25%) of 39 MPa with type A quality. The lowest average value in the variation of paving block 1 (0%) is 19 MPa with type B quality. the results of the water absorption test obtained the best average value on the variation of paving block 4 (25%) of 5.5% with type B quality. While the lowest average value in the variation of paving block 2 (10%) is 5.8% with type B quality. The results of the Randomized Block Design (RAK) for compressive strength and water absorption (F Count > F Table) so that the treatment had a significant effect and the results of the Smallest Significant Difference (BNT) test for compressive strength and water absorption obtained optimal results on the interaction of paving block composition 4 LCT 15 %, ASP 10%.
