Abstract

ANALISIS PENGENDALIAN KUALITAS PRODUK SURAT KABAR HARIAN X Oleh: Sita Fauziah 2015320001 Abstrak Harian X adalah nama surat kabar Indonesia yang berkantor pusat di Indonesia yang menggunakan jasa percetakan PT. Y. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi penyebab cacat yang ada dan membantu meningkatkan kualitas dengan meminimalisir terjadinya produk cacat sehingga produk sesuai spesifikasi yang ditentukan. Salah satu metode peningkatan kualitas yang dapat mengakomodasi tuntutan peningkatan kualitas adalah metode Six Sigma dengan tahapan DMAIC. Terdapat 3 (tiga) karakteristik waste/ produk cacat dalam produksi Harian X, yaitu: Start-Up Waste, Printed Waste dan Realstand Waste. Berdasarkan Histogram, Printed Waste memiliki tingkat waste paling tinggi dengan rata-rata nilai DPMO 23,545 dengan nilai sigma level 3.49. Dari diagram sebab-akibat penyebab waste terdiri dari faktor manusia, material, mesin dan metode. Y. This research was conducted to identify the causes of defects that exist and help improve quality by minimizing the occurrence of defective products so that the products meet specified specifications. One method of quality improvement that can accommodate demands for quality improvement is the Six Sigma method with the DMAIC stage. There are 3 (three) characteristics of waste / defective products in Daily X production, namely: Start-Up Waste, Printed Waste and Realstand Waste. Based on Histograms, Printed Waste has the highest waste level with an average value of DPMO 23,542 with a sigma level of 3.49. From the causal diagram the causes of waste consist of human factors, materials, machine and methods. Keywords: Quality, Six Sigma, DMAIC, DPMO
