Abstract

ANALISIS EMISI CO2 BERDASARKAN JEJAK KARBON SEKUNDER DI BPSDM KEMENTRIAN HUKUM DAN HAM Farras Nur Mutiara1, Ninin Gusdini, ST., MT2 1Jurusan Teknik Lingkungan, Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Sahid Jakarta 2Dosen Jurusan Teknik Lingkungan, Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Sahid Jakarta E-mail : farrasnurmutiara@gmail.com ABSTRACT One of the causes of global warming is caused by more greenhouse gas emissions that accumulate in the earth's atmosphere, causing the temperature on the surface of the earth increases from time to time, where carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions are the main component of greenhouse gass. The biggest CO2 emission from the energy sector is the use of electrical energy from activities in buildings. This study aims to analyze CO2 emissions resulting from the use of electricity at BPSDM Ministry of Law and Human Rights. Data collection on the use of electrical energy is done by calculating the use of electric power from AC, lamps, computers and laptops that were used during operational hours, especially in the BPSDM administration building of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights. The calculation of the CO2 emissions from the use of electrical energy in electronic equipment is calculated by emission factors in accordance with the provisions of the Director General of Electricity, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM). The method used is the study of carbon footprint. The results showed that the use of electricity at the site was 77,816.64 kWh/year and emissions resulting from the use of electrical energy were 68,245.19 kg CO2/year.
