Abstract

KUALITAS AIR MINUM DALAM GALON TERPAPAR SINAR MATAHARI DI DEPOT AIR MINUM ISI ULANG KECAMATAN MUSTIKA JAYA BEKASI QUALITY OF DRINKING WATER FROM THE GALLONS EXPOSED TO THE SUNLIGHT IN WATER REFILLED DEPOTS KECAMATAN MUSTIKA JAYA BEKASI Dian Adzani Septianingsih Progam Studi Teknik Lingkungan, Universitas Sahid Jakarta, Jl. Soepomo No.84, RT.7/RW.1, Menteng Dalam, Tebet, Kota Jakarta Selatan, Daerah Khusus Ibukota Jakarta 12870 Abstrak Air minum isi ulang merupakan salah satu alternatif pemenuhan kebutuhan air minum masyarakat. Banyak masyarakat yang mengkonsumsi air minum tanpa memperhatikan kemasan air agar menjauhkan dari sinar matahari yang dapat berakibat buruk terhadap kesehatan manusia. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dengan pendekatan eksperimen melalui pemeriksaan laboratorium. Kualitas air minum dianalisis berdasarkan aspek fisika, kimia maupun biologi untuk melihat kelayakan air minum isi ulang sesuai dengan PERMENKES No. 492 Tahun 2010 Tentang Persyaratan Kualitas Air Minum. Bahwa berdasarkan penelitian yang sudah dilakukan, ada beberapa sampel yang mengalami sedikit perubahan pada kualitas fisika dan kimia air minum dalam galon isi ulang yang di diamkan dibawah sinar matahari selama 3 sampai 6 jam tersebut. Maka, artinya air galon tersebut yang terpapar selama 6 jam masih aman untuk di konsumsi masyarakat karena tidak melebihi baku mutu yang telah di tetapkan oleh PERMENKES no. 492 Tahun 2010. Tetapi perlu dilakukan pengecekan kembali apabila terpapar lebih dari waktu tersebut. Kata Kunci : Kualitas Air Minum, Sinar Matahari, PERMENKES No. 492 Tahun 2010. Abstract Refill drinking water is an alternative to fulfill the needs of peoples drinking water. But many peoples consume the drinking water without observe to the water packaging to keep away from the sunlight which can have a negative impac on humans health. This research is descriptive with an experimental through laboratory examination. The quality of drinking water is an analyzed based on the aspects of physic, chemistry and biology to see the feasibility of refill drinking water according to PERMENKES No. 492 of 2010 concerning drinking water quality requirements. That based on the research that has been carried out, there are some samples that experience slight changes in the physical and chemical quality of drinking water in refill gallons which are left under the sun for 3 to 6 hours. So, it means that the gallon water exposed for 6 hours is still safe for public consumption because it does not exceed the quality standards set by the PERMENKES No. 492 of 2010.
