Abstract

STRATEGI PENURUNAN KECELAKAAN KERJA PT UNITED TRACTORS TBK DENGAN METODE PERBANDINGAN EXPONENSIAL Satriyo Widy Prasetyo1 1Teknik Lingkungan, Univesrsitas Sahid Jalan Jl. Prof. DR. Soepomo No.84 Tebet, Kota Jakarta Selatan 12870 Email : satriyowidyp@gmail.com ABSTRAK Sebagai perusahaan besar yang mendistribusikan alat berat PT United Tractors Tbk memiliki potensi kecelakaan yang besar. Berdasarkan data statistik kecelakaan kerja Kemenakertrans (2012) terdapat 99.491 kejadian near miss yang terjadi selama tahun 2011 adalah sebesar 40,45%. Teori Bird menyatakan bahwa near miss yang terus berulang dan kebanyakan disebabkan karena unsafe act atau unsafe behavior dapat meningkatkan risiko kecelakaan kerja yang lebih serius. Salah satu upaya untuk menurunkan kecelakaan kerja dan mencapai zero accident adalah dengan menggunakan Metode Perbandingan Eksponensial (MPE) di PT United Tractors Tbk. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh MPE terhadap strategi penurunan angka kecelakaan kerja di PT United Tractors Tbk. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah jenis penelitian deskriptif, penelitian ini juga menggunakan teknik sampling dengan sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 5 orang yang terdiri dari Akademi 2 orang, PT United Tractors 2 orang dan Disnaker 1 orang yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan snow ball sampling melalui wawancara mendalam dari satu responden ke responden lain yang memenuhi kriteria sampai mengalami titik jenuh. Data diuji dengan teknik keabsahan data penelitian kualitatif oleh Moelong (2005). Dari hasil perhitungan Teori Metode Perbandingan Eksponensial (MPE) dihasilkan nilasi sebesar (27755.63). Nilai dari strategi Pendekatan Manajemen memiliki nilai sebesar (8195.59) menunujukkan bahwa nilai strategi tersebut paling besar dan berpengaruh. Disusul oleh strategi Pendekatan Energi sebesar (6384.99) dan strategi Pendekatan Manusia sebesar (6198,9). Based on the Ministry of Manpower and Transmigration work accident statistics (2012) there were 99,491 near miss events that occurred during 2011 which were 40.45%. Bird's theory states that near miss are repeated and mostly caused by unsafe acts or unsafe behavior can increase the risk of more serious workplace accidents. One effort to reduce work accidents and achieve zero accident is to use the Exponential Comparison Method (MPE) at PT United Tractors Tbk. This study aims to determine the effect of MPE on strategies to reduce the number of workplace accidents at PT United Tractors Tbk. The type of research carried out is a type of descriptive research, this study also uses a sampling technique with a sample of 5 people consisting of 2 academies, 2 United Tractors 2 and Disnaker 1 person obtained using purposive sampling. Data collection is done by snow ball sampling through in-depth interviews from one respondent to other respondents who meet the criteria until they experience a saturation point. The data were tested by the validity of qualitative research data by Moelong (2005). From the results of the calculation of the Exponential Comparison Method (MPE) theory, nylation is equal to (27755.63). The value of the Management Approach strategy has a value of (8195.59) indicating that the value of the strategy is the largest and most influential.
