Abstract

ABSTRAK REPRESENTASI KEKERASAN DALAM FILM DILAN 1990 (ANALISIS SEMIOTIKA ROLAND BARTHES) Falda Cahya Putri Subiyanto 2017240031 (xi + 5 bab + 73 hal + 17 pustaka 2000-2019) Skripsi ini berjudul “Representasi Kekerasan Dalam Film Dilan 1990 (Analisis Semiotika Roland Barthes)”. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui makna denotatif, konotatif dan mitos pada scene kekerasan dalam film Dilan 1990. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan analisis semiotika Roland Barthes. Sumber data penelitian yaitu primer yang didapatkan langsung dari objek penelitian berupa film Dilan 1990 melalui streaming di aplikasi netflix. Sumber data yang kedua yaitu artikel, jurnal, serta situs diinternet yang berkenan dengan penelitian yang dilakukan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yaitu dengan cara menonton film Dilan 1990 untuk melakukan analisis semiotika kekerasan dalam film Dilan 1990 didukung denan dokumentasi screenshot scene yang mengandung unsur kekerasan fisik dan non fisik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam film Dilan 1990, terdapat adegan kekerasan baik fisik dan non fisik sebanyak lima scene adanya makna denotatif, makna konotatif, serta gambaran umum adegan. Adapun kekerasan fisik yang muncul yaitu memukul, menendang, menyeret, menampar, mendorong. Adapun kekerasan non fisik yaitu, memaki, membentak, meneriaki, menuduh, mengancam. Kata Kunci: Analisis Semiotika Roland Barthes, film Dilan 1990 ABSTRAC REPRESENTATION OF VIOLENCE IN DILAN 1990 FILM (SEMIOTIC ANALISYS OF ROLAND BARTHES) Falda Cahya Putri Subiyanto 2017240031 (xi + 73 pages + 17 references 2000-2019) This thesis is entitled "Representation of Violence in Dilan 1990 Film (Semiotic Analysis of Roland Barthes)". The purpose of this study was to determine the denotative, connotative, and mythical meanings of the violent scenes in the 1990 film Dilan. The research method used in this research is a qualitative method with semiotic analysis by Roland Barthes. The source of research data is the primary which is obtained directly from the object of research in the form of the Dilan 1990 film via streaming on the Netflix application. The second data source is articles, journals, and internet sites that are in accordance with the research conducted. The data collection technique was carried out by watching the Dilan 1990 film by conducting a semiotic analysis of violence in the 1990 Dilan film supported by documentation of screenshot scenes containing elements of physical and non-physical violence. The results of this study show that in the Dilan 1990 film, there are five scenes of violence, both physical and non-physical, with denotative meanings, connotative meanings, and scene descriptions. As for the physical violence that appeared, namely hitting, kicking, dragging, slapping, pushing. As for non-physical violence, namely, swearing, shouting, yelling, accusing, threatening.
